The site I saw required a subscription to read.

Last year or the year before a Scout in this District did an
interesting Eagle Project.

He and his team, invited veterans from the area to attend a filming
session where they could relate their service connected stories. Not
many veterans showed up and I didn't want to approve the effort. I
suggested his team review records and specifically invite veterans to
tell their stories. A number of them showed up.

The Eagle candidate and his team filmed and recorded the interviews,
saved then in digital format and distributed copies to the veterans
and to libraries around the area.
