Last week
After igniting a media firestorm by displaying a sign in front
of his church opposing the Boy Scouts' recent acceptance of
openly homosexual leaders, a Florida pastor insists it is "not
gay bashing."

In order to display the dangers of allowing openly homosexual
men to become leaders for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA),
Pastor K.C. McCay of the Congregational Church of Nokomis
illustrated – using a digital LED sign – a fox entering a hen
house to draw the analogy of how such men can now prey on young
boys.

The candid comparison was drawn by the pastor to protest BSA
president Robert Gates' call for openly homosexual adults to
serve as Scout leaders.

"Having been a Boy Scout, a Scoutmaster for many years, a father
to two Silver Palm Eagle Scouts, and having been molested by a
scout leader in my youth, I felt I had a responsibility, right
and duty to speak up," McCay told The Christian Post. "After
writing a letter to Gates of BSA, I received no reply, so I
placed this message on my sign."

McCay indicates he isn't specifically singling out the Boy
Scouts through his sign, which covers a wide array of biblical
issues on a daily basis.

"[The sign changes] weekly to include as many as 10 to 15 new
messages about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His hope and our
responsibilities," the Florida pastor explained. "It is
typically peppered with many different subjects that we face
today."

Not one to be shy to address issues taking place in America and
in his community, the outspoken pastor feels it is necessary to
let society know where God and the Bible stand on pressing,
modern-day issues in a timely and unapologetic manner.

"I changed the sign to include this message on May 30," McCay
informed the Christian media outlet. "I changed it again
[earlier this week], but kept this message and added another
calling out of BSA executives. I have no definitive time as to
how long it will stay."

Ever since his sign lit up in opposition to BSA's new anti-
family policy, members from the LGBT community have been up-in-
arms, taking offense to the church's imagery portraying "gay"
men as potential sexual predators of young boys.

"If he wants to be a community leader, be a community leader for
good, not for hate," LGBT activist Jeanie Keenan told WTSP in
Sarasota, condemning McCay's sign as "hateful" and "ill-
informed."

After McCay's church came under attack via Facebook posts about
the alleged "attacking" nature of his sign, he expressed that he
was "surprised" that his messages were considered as "gay
bashing."

"While I personally and biblically disagree with the gay
movement and do not condone their actions, I recognize their
freedom of expression and opinion," the Congregational Church's
pastor asserted. "They need to recognize ours."

And yet another total moron who doesn't know the difference between
homosexuality and pedophilia.

Being open-minded is merely the willingness to consider
evidence, not the willingness to accept claims without any.

It's so simple... all pedophiles are not queer; all homos are queer -
plus the spelling is different.
